Managing Director of Point X, Mr Tom Smyth, has over 38 years in the Information Technology Industry. He has held several Senior IT Management positions across many industry segments including Manufacturing, Retail, Distribution and Government. Tom has also held Director/General Management positions at Synergy Plus Pty Ltd and with the KAZ Group. In the 21 years spent in the roles at Synergy and KAZ, Tom managed business areas covering Consulting, Systems Integration, Application Development/Management, Managed Services, Technical Services and Sales.

In his role as General Manager of National Operations for KAZ, Tom was also one of the lead Executives working on the integration of Telstra Services Solutions after the acquisition of KAZ by Telstra in June 2004.

He has assisted many large and small companies over the past 30 plus years to achieve their business needs by sharing his extensive knowledge and experiences as well as through the effective selection and deployment of skilled resources and technology. It is this experience and his common sense, no nonsense approach that our customers most benefit from.

Tom holds a degree in Information Technology from Swinburne University
